Father Jailed for Ten Months

November 11

A Man who waved at his daughter after a judge ordered him to have no contact, has been jailed for ten months.

Mr X has made over 100 futile applications to the court - at an estimated cost of £300,000 to the British taxpayer, for reasonable contact with his child.

The High Court Judge hearing the case has, once again, ordered that there should be NO PUBLICITY. This order is directed at the Press, Media and any form of electronic communications (i.e.. Websites and e-mail). Anybody breaching this order to the extent that the child may be identified will be open to contempt charges and will almost certainly be sent to prison.

The 'Gagging Order' is supposed to be in the interests of the child but, anybody conversant with this case will know that the child will NOT benefit from it. The only people who will benefit are the so-called childcare professionals (including the judges) who have been continually failing to protect the child's interests since the case first began.

When are these non-caring judges and other childcare professionals going to recognise the fact that these poor children do NOT benefit by being deprived of the parents and family members who love them?

Your Responses

Hello.

Reading the points about imprisoning a father for showing court reports intrigues me. My ex wife and mother of our three children only last august admitted to the court judge that she had shown the two youngest (15 and 12 years old ) a copy of the welfare report and social services report which contained details of her allegations and accusations about me.

She also failed to point out that the reports questioned the validity of her allegations, so the children do not know that they are just allegations!! In effect she has traumatised them and  tainted their minds about me. When the judge discovered what she had done what did he do? Nothing!!!! No prison sentence or any sort of punishment for a flagrant contempt of the court!! He in summing up admitted that she had gained an unfair advantage but still she won the day.

BUT if I had done likewise would be probably be 1) in custody and 2) prevented from ever seeing the children again as I may have corrupted them The law is discretionary and totally unfair. Mothers seem able to flout laws and by being law breakers they then become the law makers. Children are losing fathers to a system which does not work.

regards Francis
